PR24 at the Tea Jenny 2025 – Supporting the Catherine McEwan Foundation

Property Response 24 attended the Catherine McEwan Foundation’s Tea Jenny 2025 – a fun event raising vital funds to support families affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). For PR24, the cause is deeply personal, reflecting our people-first values and ongoing commitment to giving back.

At Property Response 24 giving back and supporting causes close to our hearts is something the whole team believes in. That’s why we were thrilled to attend the Catherine McEwan Foundation’s Tea Jenny event at the Glasgow DoubleTree by Hilton in September, enjoying a fun afternoon raising funds for this amazing charity.

The Catherine McEwan Foundation

The Catherine McEwan Foundation supports children and families affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) across Scotland. From funding research to providing practical and emotional support, the charity makes a real difference to families navigating this challenging condition.

For PR24 Managing Director Caroline Gunn, the charity is especially personal. Since her son was diagnosed with IBD in 2018, Caroline has seen first-hand the compassion and dedication of the Foundation.

“This year’s Tea Jenny was a chance to celebrate the incredible support the Catherine McEwan Foundation gives families like ours. We’re grateful for everything they do and excited to keep supporting them however we can.” – Caroline Gunn

Who is Jenny?

Jenny Cook is a Young Ambassador for the Catherine McEwan Foundation and a passionate fundraiser for IBD and children’s charities, including the Glasgow Children’s Hospital. “Tea Jenny” is the name of the afternoon tea event she organises to raise awareness and funds for IBD, a condition she herself lives with.

PR24 proudly sponsors Tea Jenny each year and it’s wonderful to see how much the event has grown – a true testament to Jenny and her team putting their heart and soul into creating such a fabulous occasion.

Tea Jenny 2025

Our team joined guests for a fun afternoon of wonderful hospitality, entertainment, dancing and incredible generosity. The day was co-hosted by Robin Galloway and featured performances from Heather Kane and Nicholas McDonald, alongside various FUN-draising activities including a silent auction. But the absolute highlight had to be hitting the dance floor and dancing the afternoon away with Martin Kemp DJing! What a treat!

The Tea Jenny raised over £30,000 with all proceeds going to support families affected by IBD.

What This Means for PR24

Supporting the Catherine McEwan Foundation reflects what we stand for as a company: people first – whether it’s our clients, their tenants, our contractors, or our own team. This care and attention to others is at the heart of everything we do.

At PR24, we’re not just here to handle calls and emergencies – we’re here to provide reassurance, support and a human touch wherever it counts.
